Ann Taylor – A Stylish Concept

 If you are seeking a fresh look, come to the new Ann Taylor Concept Store at Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento. In case you aren’t sure what a concept store is, it’s a store where all of their products cater to a certain lifestyle. In this case, the lifestyle is that of the modern career woman. I attended the exciting grand opening of the Arden Fair Ann Taylor store on June 16th. The grand opening was in partnership with the Junior League of Sacramento, Inc., an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The grand opening included refreshments, sweet treats, and even champagne, all served to us on trays by elegantly-attired handsome young gentlemen. There were also gifts with any purchase over $100.  When I walked into the store, I immediately felt pampered. I found clothing and accessories in a chic, boutique atmosphere. Lisa Exalson, Head Designer and a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) said, “The new Ann Taylor is chic and stylish with a more fashion-forward direction to address the needs of today’s modern working women across every generation. Our new concept stores are a reflection of our new fashion direction. They are light, modern, feminine, and designed to showcase the full Ann Taylor collection while making our client feel comfortable and welcome.” Photo: Chic and stylish fashions
 Designed in partnership with S. Russell Groves architects, the new Ann Taylor store features white washed maple hardwood floors, luxurious crystal chandeliers, modern tufted furniture, and sleek feminine fixtures. At the front of the store, head designer Lisa’s favorite looks of the season greet the client, and help with wardrobing and styling ideas. Rather than having all the clothing on racks lined up throughout the store, there are modern wardrobing niches.  The new styling rooms feature unique floral wall coverings, ottomans, plush carpeting, and a new proprietary lighting system with flattering back-lit mirrors. A private lounge area adjacent to the styling rooms has been added. Finishing touches throughout the store include fashion books, jewelry displays, and framed images. Clothing sizes range from 0 to 14 and 14 petite, and prices range from $24 to $228. Customer service is in style at Ann Taylor. The store offers curated fashion presentations and expert styling services. Dedicated stylists are available for both walk-ins and appointments to help clients put together the perfect individualized look for any occasion. Ann Taylor stores began in 1954. Ann Taylor operates 280 stores across the United States. The Ann Taylor store in Arden Fair is located at 1689 Arden Way in Sacramento.
