AMADOR COUNTY WOMEN'S NETWORK (ACWN)
About ACWN...
The objectives and purpose of the
Amador County Women's Network:
The ACWN meets on the 4th Wednesday
of each month. The luncheon meetings begin at 11:30AM with
networking, followed by the introduction of members and their
guests, and a guest speaker. Adjournment is at 1:00PM. The Amador
County Women’s Network (ACWN) was formed in 1989 as a California
Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. The charter of ACWN is to
provide an opportunity for women in the Amador County business
community to network, share ideas and provide services to the
community and our local school system.
We also
have a raffle at each luncheon with 100% of the proceeds
benefiting our Amador County Women's Network Scholarship
fund. We awarded 3 - $1,500 scholarships to 3 young women
from local Amador County High Schools. Additionally, we have a
beautiful Cook Book for sale and all proceeds also go toward
our scholarship fund (100%). You can order on line and we will
have them for purchase at our luncheon.

To the Amador County Community:
My name is Talia, and I am the Coordinator for the Amador
County Women’s Network Annual Mixer. The Amador County Women's
Network (ACWN) is an organization for Amador County Women in
Business; we provide the opportunity for women to network with
other women in business, and we also raise money for our
scholarship fund. Every year the ACWN gives out three (3) $1500
scholarships to young ladies in our local high schools so that they
can continue their education.
ACWN Membership is only $40/year.
For more information, call ACWN President Debra Matia at 267-5791.
